This is our 12th and final podcast episode of our first season. We discuss the journey of the school year as we approach the summer holiday period across the UK. We are also joined by Javed Khan, Barnardo's CEO, who discusses his journey within Education and some key messages for Education staff.

In our 11th episode, we are joined by the internationally renowned Dr. Bruce Perry. In the episode, Dr Perry discusses the release of his new book "What Happened To You?", co - written by Oprah Winfrey, and it's relevance within UK education settings.
#S1 Ep 10 - Mental Health and Nature
This episode will focus on Mental Health Awareness Week (10th - 16th May). The theme for this week is "Nature" and we were delighted to be joined by Claire Reid (Project Co-Ordinator - B-Wild Project) who discusses her passion for nature and how we can use this to benefit our own mental health, alongside the importance of bringing nature into education environments. We finish the podcast episode with 3 top tips from Emma Gladwinfield (GP), who lets us know the best ways to connect with nature.

In our 9th episode, we will be looking at the important area of stress and how this can have an impact on those working with children and young people. We will feature interviews within our Barnardo's team to discuss their journey with stress over the last 14 months, along with some feature discussions across a variety of education settings.

This episode features an interview with Nicola Reed of Cruse Bereavement Care Scotland. We discussed bereavement during the pandemic and the impact this has had on young people and families, whilst having a discussion about the important role of education staff.

This episode will look back over the last year living within the global pandemic and take some moments to reflect on your individual journey. We feature an in-depth interview with Amanda Seyderhelm who discusses grief, loss and bereavement. We discuss the importance of engaging children and young people with these conversations in education settings.

Episode number 6 features discussions around bereavement experienced by children and young people. We will feature an in-depth interview with Clare Jeffree of Winston's Wish, a leading national charity on the subject matter.

Episode number 5 features an interview with Mike Armiger, an Educator from Wales, who specialises in mental health and trauma. Mike discusses staff wellbeing and why it is so crucial.
We are also joined by Programme Manager, Samara Barnes, who discusses the best way to engage with the Education Community, in particular the Community of Practice.
