Staff Wellbeing

The importance of staff wellbeing is central to BEC’s offer and underpins our approach.

This section of the website is dedicated to supporting staff wellbeing as we recognise that staff need to be well supported and their wellbeing prioritised in schools and settings.

Working with babies, children and young people in education settings is very fulfilling and rewarding, and the commitment, passion and hard work of staff makes a real difference to the lives of babies, children and young people.

We know there are always challenges working in education but it has been particularly demanding over the past 3 years and has had a real impact on staff mental health and wellbeing.

‘78% of all staff experienced mental health symptoms due to their work’

(Education Support, Teacher Wellbeing Index 2022)

More and more schools and settings are considering or have already adopted a whole school approach to staff wellbeing. Our offer aims to complement what may already be in place and/or meet the needs of staff who are looking for additional support.

We provide:

      • Spaces for Wellbeing Programme
      • Taking Care of People you Lead
      • Reflective Work Discussions
